Playing Silent Hill Homecoming for the first time.

Currently in the Hotel.

I’m enjoying this game. Sometimes it’s a little bit slow but not that bad. Of course I find the game to be a rip-off of the movie with all those sceneries but whatever. The only thing I do hate in this game is Pyramid Head. But forgive me for my opinion that only James can see Pyramid Head. Not saying other can’t but I’m sure they see “him” in different forms… Since I read Lost Memories I stayed true to that fact. But, I’m not gonna be all hype about it and starting raging because that won’t change anything. If I was responsible for the games I wouldn’t let it happen but I’m not. So whatever.

Anyway, about the game. I really like the battle system. It’s very easy to handle. I like the first person camera option since I love seeing all those decorations with as much detail as possible. It’s really nice.

I think there’s a bit of lack of information about the characters so far. As I said before, there are some parts which are pretty slow during the game.

And the game is (well not much as SH3 or even SH4:TR) scary. I found myself pausing the game and take a deep breathe before entering that room with 2 or 3 nurses around a hospital bed (or whatever it is) with that half body on it. Seriously, it gave me that feeling of anxiety (kinda) and I felt pretty nervous but at the same time pretty happy with it. Call me insane but I love feeling like that. Specially playing Silent Hill games. It means it’s actually getting into me.

Moving on, about Alex Shepherd, I think I’m not too far in the story to actually understand him and his story but I got a glimpse of what happened or is happening with him so far. Apart from that he seems to be a cool character. At least he’s not so irritating and annoying as Henry from Silent Hill 4: The Room.

Overall I’m enjoying the game besides one or two negative aspects in my opinion.

PS: Alex is pretty hot in my opinion.
